Spring New Arrivals

Spring New Arrivals
It's the first full day of spring in the Northern Hemisphere, which calls for celebration. Yesterday, on the equinox itself, you may have balanced eggs on end, danced in a circle with bells on your legs, or simply admired the animated horticultural Google doodle. Today, however, it is time to update your Happy Hour beverage to match the season. So now that the long, cold, snowy winter is finally over, we have begun to bring in some new products for your warm weather enjoyment. Here are some of the new arrivals at the store over the last several weeks.

Yuengling Beer
Yuengling Beer is finally available in Massachusetts and we're presently stocking the following flavors:
Lager
An iconic american lager famous for it's rich amber color and medium-bodied flavor with roasted caramel malt for a subtle sweetness and a combination of cluster and cascade hops, this true original delivers a well-balanced taste with a very distinct character.
Light
Drawing from traditional brewing techniques this beer is skillfully crafted to deliver a consistently refreshing brew with well balanced character and only 98 calories.
Black & Tan
Black & Tan combines our popular Dark Brewed Porter with premium beer. Rich and dark in color, it has a well-balanced flavor with hints of caramel and coffee from the dark roasted malt that finishes smooth and satisfying.
Tuckerman Pale Ale
Released in 1998, this ale is brewed with specialty malts, some grown in Maine, and four types of hops. After fermentation, it is cold conditioned and dry-hopped in lagering tanks for maximum taste and quality. It is naturally carbonated in the bottle or keg using a German process called "krausening", where a small amount of fresh fermenting wort is added. This produces a delicate carbonation and superior flavor. From the Mash Tun to store shelves is a 30 day process.
Wells Banana Bread Beer
Tempting banoffee aromas tempered by a grassy, lemony nose all leading to a finely balanced, fresh, delicate flavour of peppery hops with a lingering dry finish. This beer has achieved a number of accolades including winner of "Beer of the Festival" award at CAMRA's London Drinker Festival in March 2002.
Sam Adams Summer
An American Wheat, brewed with malted wheat, lemon zest and grains of paradise - a rare pepper from Africa first used as a brewing spice in the 13th Century to create a crisp and spicy flavor and body.
Wicked Pissa IPA
Wicked Pissa 1. From the New England lexicon for 'something awesome:' Wicked (adj.) meaning 'very,' in the extreme; as in 'wicked cold.' Pissa (adj./noun) meaning something akin to "great" or "totally awesome." 2. Used as a descriptor; also often used as its own sentence. Eg: "I had a wicked pissa beer last night." You did? Wicked pissa!" Malts: Pale, Caramel, Victory Hops: Columbus, Cascade, Liberty, Zeus Alc: 6.4% IBU: 45 Wicked pissa IPA Wicked pissa
Apothic White
An approachable blend that combines Chardonnay, Riesling and Moscato to create a luscious, vibrant wine in the bold style of Apothic. Intense flavors of peach, pineapple, honey and vanilla spice make this smooth white blend unforgettable.
Wild Horse Chardonnay
Wild Horse's exceptional Central Coast vineyard sites, combined with traditional winemaking techniques, helped to create this elegant, fruit-driven Chardonnay. Bright fruit flavors of crisp green apple and Bosc pear are beautifully complemented by subtle notes of vanilla, caramel and toasted oak.
Franciscan Chardonnay
This wine has an enticing nose showing layers of citrus, rich pear tart, honeydew melon, toasted hazelnut, and mineral notes complemented by hints of honeysuckle and vanilla cream. Flavors of vibrant d'Anjou pear and Fuji apple, with subtle pineapple, citrus, and honey highlights. The round and full palate is silky and bright, with good minerality, creamy complexity, and a long, clean finish of mineral, white nectarine, and Meyer lemon.
Cupcake Moscato
Vibrant and expressive with dominant floral notes and hints of bright fruit flavors – including peach, tropical fruits and lychee – this wine is soft and luscious. Just a hint of fine effervescence tickles the palate and balances the sweetness. Harvested from the Asti area of Italy, our Moscato Bianco grapes are gently picked and pressed. The juice is clarified immediately to maintain its complex aroma. The wine is then cool fermented in stainless steel tanks to draw out its full flavor and character.
Conundrum Red Blend
Intensely colored and fragrant, the wine opens up with evocative aromas of blackberry, raspberry, rhubarb and cola. On the palate, the wine is full bodied and exuberantly fruity, pairing black cherry, plum and pomegranate notes with more soulful cinnamon, lavender and cocoa nuances. The tannins are firm yet supple, and the finish is long with enticing notes of brown spice, bramble fruits, vanilla and toasty oak.
