Fall is a season that has the word "beer" written all over it. Cool nights unleash the craving for hearty beers, whose colors mirror those of the turning leaves. Fall brews are more flavorful and more substantial than summer's bright quenchers. Colors get deeper and flavors get toastier as the tastes of the harvest table call out for malty partners. It doesn't take much to trade up to luxury in the beer world, so why not live a little? Check out one of these world-class brews next time you're cruising the six-pack aisle. From seasonal specialties to solid stand-bys, innovative American craft brews to international ambassadors of style, autumn's finest offerings await.
Dogfish Head Punkin Ale
A full-bodied brown ale with smooth hints of pumpkin and brown sugar. We brew our Punkin Ale with pumpkin meat, brown sugar and spices. As the season cools, this is the perfect beer to warm up with.
Day Of The Dead Amber Ale
Nice copper color with a creamy head. It is a rich pleasant ale perfectly balanced between soft toffee and caramel notes and a floral-hoppy bitterness. It has a semi-dry finish with subtle coffee notes.

Day Of The Dead Blonde Ale
This beer pours a bright golden-yellow color & is well-balanced. It has a medium-bodied pour with a mild sweetness from caramel and soft pleasant bitterness. Three varieties of malts and 2 different hops helps create this tasty brew.

Day Of The Dead Pale Ale
Brewed in the style of American Pale ale. Pours a bright amber color with a medium-body. Pleasant floral aromas are complemented by a distinct bitterness creating a beer for hop-lovers. Five varieties of malts blended with Chinook & Glacier hops create a great character & flavor.
Echigo Koshi Hikari
Echigo is Japan's oldest craft brewery founded in 1994 in Niigata, Japan shortly after "deregulation" in 1993. They started brewing in December 1994 and sold their first craft beer in February 1995. In 1996 they won a bronze medal in the World Beer Cup for their stout. Since then they've won various awards over the years including a Silver medal at the World Beer Cup in 2009 for this beer, Koshihikari Echigo Beer, in the "Pilsner" category.
Curious Traveller Shandy
Curious Traveler™ is a fresh, bold year-round, craft-brewed, all malt wheat ale infused with real lemons and limes. This shandy has a lively fruity flavor and a powerful "throw your head back" fresh lemon aroma. In short – It's Quite a Refresher!
Battle Road Farmhouse Ale
A straw-gold rustic ale "on lees" that evokes a time long ago with a robust yeast strain, that likes it hot…a vigorous top-ferm
0enting classic that provides some of the best food pairing flavors on the planet. Of course we love it, and hope you do too. They temper this spicy, fruity yeast profile with pedigreed noble hops; East Kent Goldings for bittering and a generous dose of Hallertau Mittelfruh for aroma. This beer will increase in complexity and dryness over time, providing a bit of insolent freshness up front, and more refined dignity even months after the brew date kept in the right conditions…above all upright and away from light.

Battle Road 1775 ale
Their flagship brand. They use the best quality North American 2-Row barley malt, a bit of high-dried "Munich-style" a toasty "Biscuit" malt and a flavorful caramelized "Munich" malt to round out what is a predominately dry, crisp ale. The hop used is a single varietal, Slovenian-grown Styrian Goldings, added at various rates throughout the boil, including large doses towards the end to insure just a moderate bitterness with a pleasant aroma and flavor for these very fine hops.

Battle Road Lexington IPA
They select a trio of American grown classics and concoct a late kettle-addition-heavy schedule of hop additions to push forward a pronounced aroma of Humulus Lupulus while respecting the beautiful malts they've selected to round out this reddish, brassy golden ale. Dry and crisp, with a clean malt delivery and a burst of hop flavor, and even more aromatics of Chinook, Centennial and Cascade hops added from first wort to the last possible moment before fermentation. Go Green!
Shipyard Pumpkinhead
One of the most popular pumpkin beers of all time – Shipyard Pumpkinhead is hitting our shelves now. Pumpkinhead was first brewed by Shipyard in 2002. Pumpkinhead is actually spiced liked a pumpkin beer, with no real pumpkin in the brew. Hints of pumpkin, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Wheat malt brings this beer full circle. Crisp and light. Grab yours now before it's gone for the season.
Berkshire Brewing Steel Rail Extra Pale Ale
BBC's flagship brew is a light colored, medium bodied ale exhibiting exceptional freshness through its 2-Row Pale malt backbone and signature hop flavor and aroma. In the words of renowned beer writer Lew Bryson, Steel Rail EPA is "what the water in heaven oughta taste like."

Berkshire Brewing Traditional Pale Ale
A traditional pale ale, deep copper in color, Berkshire Ale has a rich malt profile from pale, caramel and crystal malts supporting a generous helping of American and British hop varieties. A well balanced and flavorful brew, Berkshire Ale's medium body and aromatic finish hops offer something for all beer aficionados.

Berkshire Brewing Coffeehouse Porter
This rich, dark ale takes BBC's popular Drayman's Porter and adds Dean's Beans organic coffee to the mix, creating an enticing blend of everyone's favorite beginning and end of day beverages. Robust and aromatic, Coffeehouse Porter is sure to please, no matter what time of day you choose to enjoy it.

Berkshire Brewing Lost Sailor IPA
A classic British-inspired IPA, Lost Sailor keeps an even keel with a well rounded malt profile to support generous dry-hopping with the time-honored Goldings hop variety. With its floral and citrus aroma and medium body, Lost Sailor is the perfect session beer, whether lost at sea or in the comfort of your own home or a local pub.

Berkshire Brewing River Ale
A truly unique ale, River is a dark American wheat beer that is "single-hopped" with Willamettes, accenting that variety's signature profile while letting the malts shine through. River Ale's slightly sweet flavor is accented with notes of nuttiness, fresh baked bread and a light spiciness of wheat. A brew that stands alone in the beer landscape.

Skinny Girl Bare Naked Vodka
This vodka is like satin sheets and silk robes all rolled into a smooth, clean and slightly sweet package. This low-cal no-carb naturally flavored vodka will play nice with anything you choose to add - it's design-your-own cocktail, Skinnygirl® Cocktails style. So go ahead and grab some ice or your favorite mixer and get Naked. We won't tell.
Bunratty Meade
Honey wine is an ancient beverage made from fermented honey and enjoyed by the peoples of Europe long before the Romans introduced wine from grapes. If you've been to the Bunratty Castle in County Clare, you will recognize this particular Mead as the second Mead served in the Castle's lower quarters, the first Mead being a warm, mulled red Mead that we've yet to find for sale anywhere. Maybe it was the fog, the chilly November air, or the wait to gain entrance to the castle itself, whatever the influence this was by far the very best Mead I've personally had the privilege of trying. The Bunratty white Meade is a tasty treat, and at its best when served slightly chilled, in my opinion.

Sipping Sally's Spanish Red
Sipping Sally's Spanish Red is made from 100% Tempranillo. A full-bodied deep, ruby red wine with aromas of vanilla and herbs. Plums, cherries, and strawberries tantalize the taste. Great with burgers, spicy sausages, tapas, pork, grilled or roasted meats.
Gaga Red Blend
A fun and value-driven California red that delivers sensuous aromas of black plums, fall spices, and dried black figs. The fig theme carries on the palate along with a stewed red fruit flavor, which hails from an abundance of Zinfandel. This is a great option when all you want to do is stay indoors and watch the leaves blow around.

Gaga White Blend
The wine offered crisp acidity, without being grapefruity, and the finish was clean and fresh! Explodes with aromas and flavors of crisp pear and apricot, while notes of honeysuckle linger over a lively texture. Tantalizing all by itself or over dinner with the most promising of company.
Trapiche Torrontes White
Yellow-greenish color, with golden hints. Flower and citrus aromas. Fresh in the mouth. Elegant, well balanced wine. Ideal as an aperitif with hors d'ouvres or seafood. Excellent with mild to spicy cuisine.

Trapiche Falling Star Malbec
This Malbec shows loads of spicy black fruits, with hints of tobacco. Juicy on the palate, this is an easy-to-drink, ripe Malbec to enjoy now.
Geno's Pinot Grigio
Straw green color. Dried herb, briny clay and straw aromas with a round, dry light-to-medium body and a nectarine pit and lemon pith finish. A rustic food style, try with oysters.
Giorgio & Gianni Viva Frizzante
Semi-sparkling wine with fine and generous bubbles, light golden straw color, nose of green apple, great peach taste, sweet, full bodied and well balanced, very refreshing.
Volandera Garnacha
The colour is breath-taking, a luminous violet. One is so eager to taste it that one almost forgets to smell it. It is incredibly fresh, light, fruit to the fore: the pallet, disco red liquorice, Kojak's lollipops…the candy shop of the 80's. Easy drinking, soft and smooth. Enjoy it fresh, in the sun and without inhibition. A wine in its element and without delusions of grandeur. Pure Garnacha. Pure fruit.
The Black Dog Cabernet (Santa Barbara)
This Cabernet Sauvignon has rich flavors of blackberry and cherry, with notes of pepper and spice. This wine is a hit with a variety of red meats and rich sauces.

The Black Dog Chardonnay (Santa Barbara)
A toasty vanilla nose lead to a creamy soft mouth-feel with flavors of tropical fruit and a touch of spice.
Nicolas Reserve Cabernet
Crisp, Apple, Vanilla, Medium-bodied
Nicolas Reserve Sauvignon Blanc
Nicolas Chardonnay
El Circulo Rioja Red

Nectar Cabernet (Bordeaux)
An easy to drink Cabernet fresh and young at a great price
Pepi Chenin Blanc/Viogner Blend
Pale, straw yellow in color. Aromatic with melon and floral notes on the nose. Melon, lime, and floral notes come through on the palate. Dry and light to medium-bodied with crisp acidity. Well-balanced with a long, refreshing finish.
Mashjuga Chard
This Chard is a pale straw color with fresh tropical flavors. Pure and clean. They focus on the pure expression of the Chardonnay grape. No malolactic fermentation and no stinkin oak!

Mashjuga Pinot
This Pinot is deep and complex with an elegant nose. Berry and toasted oak notes mingle beautifully with plum and black cherry flavors. The tannins are soft, the finish is long. This is a bold Pinot Noir that demonstrates depth and structure.

Mashjuga Bubbly
This Bubbly is a delicate, fruit-forward sparkling wine, which is versatile enough for any occasion. Bright aromas of ripe apple give way to luscious notes of white peach on the palate. Its fine mousse (bubbles) lifts the fruit character and makes the wine a delightful and refreshing addition to any light cuisine, and a decadent treat with foie gras and potato chips!
Candoni Moscato D'Italia
Made from 100% Moscato Bianco grapes from the Apulia Region in the very south of Italy where the diversity of land, its terrains, exposures as well as its Mediterranean climate allow this winery to craft a semi sparkling sweet Candoni Moscato wine of excellent quality. Semi-sparkling, but remarkably fruity and fragrant, it has an excellent balance of sweetness and acidity.

Candoni Prosecco
Candoni Prosecco is produced in the flourishing vineyard nestled in the midst of the hilly Prosecco district close to the historic city of Conegliano in the Veneto Region in Italy. Delicate and fruity with a hint of honey, Candoni Prosecco is crisp and clean in the mouth with a pleasant acidity that leaves behind a delicious and persistent freshness with a dry, well-balanced taste.
Apothic Dark
A limited release, our Apothic Dark blends dark fruit flavors of blueberry and blackberry with opulent notes of coffee and dark chocolate for a rich, yet silky smooth, palate.
Cherry Pie Pinot Noir
Cherry Pie Pinot Nois is deep and concentrated. It shows tons of textural richness in its sweet candied red fruit, there is no shortage of lush overt fruit in this beautiful wine. It never tires the palate. Enjoy!
Middle Sister Drama Queen Pinot Grigio
Tastes like an explosion of apples and pears, with a slight touch of mineral on the finish. A stunning Pinot Grigio, in perfect taste for any social event, from fashion shows to fundraisers...or on that rare occasion we're dining in.

Middle Sister Smarty Pants Chardonnay
Some girls are born beautiful. Some girls are born rich. And some girls are born smart. The smart girls grow up and use their brains to make money to buy great clothes and travel abroad and throw dinner parties…where they serve chardonnay that they didn't spend a fortune on…in wine glasses brought home from their last trip to Paris. Tastes like pear and citrus in the beginning, with baked apple on the finish.
Simi Russian River Chardonnay
Russian River Valley Reserve Chardonnay, light straw with a golden edge, offers forward fruit with minerality, lifted and framed by sweet oak notes and spice.
Angeline Chardonnay Reserve
Aromas of ripe, juicy pear and apple, along with buttered toast and a whiff of white flowers jump out of the glass, luring the taster into a zippy, refreshing mouthful of consistent flavors. This wine has a long, mouthwatering finish.

July New Arrivals

Hey All! We have a great selection of new beers, coolers and liquors for you to celebrate Summer. Be sure to stop by and pick up something refreshing to beat the heat.

Beer
Angry Orchard Iceman
Inspired by the tradition of Ice Ciders in Quebec, Canada, Iceman uses the process of freezing the juice from culinary and bittersweet apples to produce a rich, complex and unique cider with a crisp apple taste and notes of caramel and toffee. This cider is sweet but not cloying. The addition of oak-aging yields a smooth and pleasing vanilla character. The result is a perfectly balanced, full-flavored cider that delights the palate with clean apple notes and a lingering toffee finish.

Angry Orchard Strawman
Strawman combines a distinct blend of juices from traditional culinary and bittersweet apples, which is then aged in oak. The result is a full-flavored, complex and balanced cider with wine-like characteristics, rounded out by apple and citrus notes. Its lingering, earthy finish is a homage to the origins of this unique cider.

Wasatch Apricot
Bottled. Poured clear, brighter golden with a dusting of white head. The aroma picked up apricots, sweet honey, and banana, with hints of sour fruit skins and wheat around.. aiight. The flavor found mostly bready notes and honey at the core, with nice complementary apricot juice joining.. lightly sour and a bit grainy around, with refreshing fruit and tangy wheat on the quick, dry finish. Light-bodied with low carbonation on the palate.. this is a decent easy-drinker.

Wasatch Polygamy Porter
his dark, medium bodied ale offers the drink-ability of a much lighter beer. The inviting chocolate and malty flavors fade into a slightly dry, silky smooth finish. Why have just one? 4.0% alcohol by volume. • 2008 Silver Medal Winner, Brown Porter, North American Brewers’ Association • 2008 Silver Medal Winner, Brown Porter, World Beer Cup • 2006 Silver Medal Winner, Brown Porter, North American Brewers’ Association

Gave a shot to my mom – loved it. Husband – loved it. You get the idea. I have yet to find a single person who doesn’t like Fireball Whisky.

 Jack Daniels Honey Whisky
A big following in the USA, this is Jack Daniel's honey and whiskey liqueur. A mix of regular Old No 7 and a spiced honey liqueur, it's got spice, sweetness, floral undertones and a long smooth finish. Drink over ice, chilled or even in a cup of coffee - it's rather tasty.

Dr. McGilluddy Apple Pie
Forget the fork, Dr. McGillicuddy's Apple Pie blends the flavor of ripe, red apples with just the right dash of cinnamon. Add a hint of crust and whipped cream and it's just like warm apple pie, with a kick. Try a slice of this tasty combination.. Enjoy

Spirits

Licor 43
This spanish liquer is made from citrus and fruit juices, flavored with vanilla and other aromatic herbs and spices, in total 43 different ingredients (hence the name). Licor 43 is also known as "Cuarenta Y Tres" and is 62 proof. The aroma is sharp, warm and complex with vanilla up front; and then a tangy sweet fruit, spices and an aged rum like presence. In production since 1924.

Choco Noir

For centuries, top chefs and sommeliers have been aware of the sinful results achieved when superior wines are paired with fine chocolates. This ready-to-drink beverage is perfect on the rocks after a long day, splashed in to a steaming mug of coffee on a lazy Sunday morning or served chilled for a romantic evening full of sensual delights.  Choco Noir contains 14% alcohol by volume.

V'Nilla Noir
A flawless balance between quality French vanilla cream and Pinot Noir, the world's most delicate wine. Perfect on the rocks, added to your favorite Chai tea on a languid Saturday morning or served chilled. 14% alcohol by volume.

Royal Salute Scotch
Treat yourself with this prestigious scotch whiskey produced by the Chivas Brothers, founded in 1801 in Aberdeen, Scotland. Royal Salute is one of the leading elite scotch whiskeys launched on June 2nd, 1953 by the Chivas

Brothers in tribute to Queen Elizabeth II on the day of her coronation. Named after the traditional 21 gun salute. All Royal Salute whiskies are aged for a minimum of 21 years, which allows the whisky to develop a rich and complex flavor. This stock is limited because of the age of the whiskey. For each year of aging, 2% of the whiskey evaporates. This process is known as the "angel's share".

Glenfarclas Scotch
Another elite scotch, Glenfarclas is the sweet floral sherried heart of Speyside pushed to the limit in the wood. No other single malt embodies the limpid marble waters and sweet grain of the Speyside region like Glenfarclas. Nose is a sweet vanilla sherry - simple scotch - increasingly rich with time. Toffee malt richness turns the aroma ambrosial with time in the glass. Light mouthfeel.
The entry is mostly sweet with straight malt sugars. Expansion is broad but light and floral with vanilla from oak tannins which bring a pepperiness and a dryness in the texture. Sherry and nougat and cake frosting flavors round into red fruits (cherry and red plum) as the midpalate blooms into honeyed splendor. Finish is sweet turning tannin dry with a long tail of vanilla and honeysuckle and citrus (tangerine) that ends on a slightly bitter note.

Wine:

Black River Malbec
This wine boasts an intense red colour with purple reflrections. On the nose, the intense bouquet of small Patagonic red berries such as cassis, raspberries and prunes combined with hints of mint, to be followed by a well balanced taste, with sweet tannins, velvety structure and a fruity young taste. This wine is harvested from winery-owned vineyards located in General Roca, Alto Valle del Rio Negro, Patagonia.

Tin Roof:  Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc
This beautiful Chardonnay is smooth and rich, with fresh creamy apple and citrus flavors enhanced by subtle oak tones and a crisp, refreshing finish. The lucious Sauvignon Blanc highlights choice grapes which imbue a crisp refreshing white with succulent grapefruit, lemon/lime and honeydew melon flavors.

Allegro Moscato
Moscato Allegro is California’s premier Muscat Canelli based wine. It is produced in the style of Northern Italy’s Muscat, including the traditional tall and sleek bottle used only for the finest Moscato d’Asti. This is an elegant wine that dances across the palate with intense fruit, then ends with a crisp, clean finish. Fresh and spicy, Allegro Moscato offers exotic floral and fruit aromas reminiscent of orange blossoms, honeyed apricots and peaches. Fabulous.

New Arrivals

Over the last several weeks we have received some great new items. Take a look at the list below. (and be sure to give the Absinthe a try!)

BEER:

Andersen Valley Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout
Darkness. The deep ebony color, voluptuous mahogany head and bold, roasty flavors in our Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout are what serious beer drinkers expect from this style. Aromas of freshly baked bread, espresso, and dried cherries meld seamlessly with rich toffee flavors and a creamy mouth feel to create an unparalleled drinking experience.

Dales Pale Ale
America’s first hand-canned craft beer is a voluminously hopped mutha that delivers a hoppy nose, assertive-but-balanced flavors of pale malts and hops from start to finish. First canned in 2002, Dale’s Pale Ale is a hearty (6.5% and 65 IBUs), critically acclaimed trailblazer that has changed the way craft beer fiends perceive canned beer.

Shipyard Applehead
Shipyard Applehead is a crisp, refreshing wheat ale with a delightful apple aroma and subtle cinnamon flavor.

Tape Brewing:
Leathlerlips IPA
The brewing process by itself contains enough Nugget and Chinook to satisfy the most seasoned hop head. But they couldn’t leave it alone. Once fermentaion is complete we add a massive hop bag to the bright tank that is bursting at the seams with whole cone Centennial for an aroma that you just can’t get any other way.

Johsua Norton Imperial Stout
You love stouts. Or you love colonial swords and this color scheme. Either way, ours is different. We add just a touch of smoked malt for another layer in an already intensely deep and roasty brew. The name: Joshua Norton was the self-proclaimed emporer of the United States. He was crazy and probably fun to talk to -- like us.

Sassy Rabbit Rye Ale
Our brand new, year-round rye ale. The second we looked at the grain bill and said “That’s enough rye” -- we immediately doubled the amount. A peppery bite from the malt, and plenty of alpha acid from the Chinook and Glacier hops. They all come together into a brew that we’re ecstatic to share with a certain type of people; people who love things that are awesome.

Wychwood Brewery Hobgoblin Ale
Traditionally craft brewed with Chocolate & Crystal malts and a blend of Styrian, Goldings & Fuggles hops to produce a full-bodied, Ruby beer that delivers a delicious chocolate toffee malt flavour, balanced with a rounded moderate bitterness and an overall fruity, mischievous character.

Marston's Pedigree
It has a dry hop aroma with a full range of complex flavours. The melding of nut, fruit and winey flavours create a smooth and very drinkable satisfying whole.

Port Brewing Wipeout IPA
Honey gold, slightly hazy, huge persistent head like a dollop of meringue and loads of lace. Smells of mandarins, tangerines, key limes, honey and toast. Taste is orange citrus, papaya, honey cakes, pine. Creamy mouthfeel with a nice bitter bite and perfect carbonation. Wet and refreshing, clean moderately bitter finish, extremely drinkable and delicious. Very nice.

Bear Republic:

Big Bear Black Stout
Big Bear is a big, black, stout you can really sink your teeth into. The bold, roasty, caramel malt flavor is balanced by Centennial and Cascade hops.

Racer 5 IPA
This hoppy American IPA is a full bodied beer brewed American pale and crystalmalts, and heavily hopped with Chinook, Cascade, Columbus and Centennial.

Monty Python Holy Grail Ale
Ten years later on the 40th anniversary Holy Grail is still going strong. With more hops than a killer rabbit, it's a full-flavoured golden ale with a distinctively fruity flavour followed by the Black Sheep signature dry finish.

Arrogant Bastard Double Bastard Ale
The taste is HUGE and BOLD. Lots of lemon bitterness thrown against tons of malt. It maintains a great balance. The texture is smooth with moderate carbonation. A big beer with still keeps it together.

Rogue Dead Guy Chocolate Stout
Ebony in color with a rich creamy head. The mellow flavor of oats, chocolate malts and real chocolate are balanced perfectly with the right amount of hops for a bitter-sweet finish.

New Planet Gluten Free Raspberry Ale
Its refreshing and crisp ale-like taste, complemented by pureed Oregon raspberries, makes it the perfect summer treat.

Hop Notch IPA
A 7.3 percent beer with an entrancing pale gold color and dense, fluffy head of foam. There’s a massive aroma of peaches and mangoes, with creamy oatmeal maltiness and tangy hop resins. Bitter hops and rich fruit dominate the palate with a strong backbone of clean, juicy malt. The finish has some pleasing malty sweetness but it’s balanced by tart and tangy hop resins and a continuing rich yet mellow fruitiness.

21st Ammendment:

Sneak Attack
The perfect antidote to the big beers of winter, Sneak Attack is crisp, dry and palate cleansing. It pairs perfectly with the rich and warming foods of winter: Bouillabaise, sausages, smoked meats and full flavored cheeses.

Hell or High Watermelon
Hell or High Watermelon Wheat is our summer seasonal beer available from April through September in six pack cans and on draft. We start by brewing a classic American wheat beer, which undergoes a traditional secondary fermentation using fresh watermelon. A straw-colored, refreshing beer with a kiss of watermelon aroma and flavor.

Lindeman's Framboise Lambic
Long before hops were common in most beers, various fruits and vegetables were used to season beers. The acidity of Lambic beers blends perfectly with raspberries. Magnificent aroma, delicate palate of raspberries with undertones of fruity acidity; elegant, sparkling clean natural taste.

Jack's Abby:

Jabby Brau
Deep golden in color, this low ABV lager balances Pilsner and Munich malt with an aromatic American hop aroma. This beer starts hoppy but finishes unexpectedly malty with very low bitterness. Impressively flavorful and drinkable for the lightest beer we brew. We dub this beer a "Session Lager," as we once again brew a lager in a beer style of its own. Uses local Soft Red Winter Wheat from Four Star Farms.

Smoke & Dagger
Cloaked in mystery, this dark black beer skirts the line between a schwarzbier and smoked porter. The use of a small percentage of traditional Beechwood smoked malt adds complexity and balances the liberal use of chocolate malt. Notes of roasted grains, beechwood smoke, and coffee accompany a full bodied-and sweet chocolately malt character. Smoke & Dagger uses locally grown unmalted barley from MA.

LIQUOR:

Lucid Absinthe
Lucid is the first genuine absinthe made with real Grande Wormwood to be legally available in the US in over 95 years. Lucid is made with full measure of Grande Wormwood as well as other fine European herbs. Recommended!

Karlsson's Gold Vodka
Karlsson’s Gold Vodka is a blend of several different varietals of Virgin New Potatoes from Cape Bjäre, Sweden. It is handcrafted, single-distilled and unfiltered to preserve the flavor and character of this rare and expensive raw ingredient.

Midnight Moon Moonshine
The Midnight Moon fruit inclusions are hand-packed in traditional moonshine jars with real, honest-to-goodness fruit. No artificial colors or flavors. Just as moonshiners have done for generations, the real fruit ages in the jar, and all of the delicious flavor comes from the fruit itself – just as nature (and moonshiners) intended. Our all natural, real fruit inclusions are available in the following flavors: Apple Pie, Blackberry, Blueberry, Cherry, Cranberry & Strawberry.

WINE:

Vampire Merlot
Picked at peak ripeness, our Merlot is fermented on the skins for two weeks, with three-times-daily pumpovers, the traditional method of extraction which brings rich color and supple tannins to the new wine. Aged with a combination of both French and American oak, our Merlot develops graceful fruit flavors in the cellar, complemented by subtle shadings of vanilla and toast from the oak.

Big Woop Red
A blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Petit Verdot packaged in a 1-Liter bottle. Just slip into layers of smooth, palate pleasing, medium bodied, fruit of the vine.

Red Newt Riesling
Peach, apricot, mango and pineapple fill the palate and linger throughout. Structured and balanced acidity with a mouthwatering finish.

Sharpe Hill Ballet of Angels
A light and refreshing semi-dry white wine with a delicious floral bouquet. This wine has wonderful refreshing citrus flavors reminiscent of peaches, pears and sweet grapefruit.

Tolosa "1772" Pinot Noir
This wine has the classic medium density ruby red hue of Pinot Noir. The fruit aromas are ripe to jammy strawberries. There are some violet notes as well as wet earth. The deeper layers are of spice, briar and baking bread. The flavors on the palate are fruity and toasty with blackberry dominating. The structure of flavor is still youthfully awkward and tense. There is a pleasant dryness and cinnamon like character to the finish.

Dreaming Tree Crush
A blend of the North Coast's finest varieties, this wine pulls you in with a smoky berry note and then jumps up with a raspberry jam.

Terra Noble Gran Reserva Cabernet
Vintages Wine Panel: Colchagua Valley is quickly developing a reputation for producing full-flavoured, well-balanced red wines, such as this Cabernet Sauvignon. Try this bold beauty. My note: A phenomenal wine for the money! Dark fruit and savoury, meaty flavours. Smooth and deeply, truly, madly delicious. Food matches: barbecued steaks, ribs.

If You See Kay (an Italian red wine)
Kay smells amazing; she’s soft, creamy, juicy, rich, and powerful all at the same time. A dark and brooding wine, hints of imminent danger, ripe with confidence and purpose; on a mission. She’s more than a mouthful, but never wasteful – like handfuls of juicy ripe blackberries dripping from your hands, so perfectly ripe that you have to go back again and again for another taste.

Adesso Cagnina Dolce
Adesso Cagnina di Romagna is soft garnet in color. It is medium in body with a pleasant nose of red berries and flavors of black raspberries, cherries and spice. It is nicely balanced to enjoy now and over the next 3-4 years. This wine is long and silky smooth on the finish and easy to love.

Mosca Mango Moscato
An innovative blend of Moscato with mango fruit pulp from Italy. Refreshing, bubbly and delicious; Perfect for desserts, fruit drinks or by themselves, Mosca wines are made with high quality ingredients and are ideal for any occasion; Shake gently before serving

90+ Cellars
90+ Cellars was created because we like drinking great wine anytime we want. We wanted an everyday “go to” wine that tasted like one usually reserved for special occasions, a delicious wine that we could open any night of the week or whenever friends arrived. Unfortunately, that wine didn’t exist or just took too much time to find.

If there's a craft beer or wine you'd like us to purchase for you, let us know by emailing us at gilbertswineandspirits@gmail.com. Cheers!

Limoncello: The National Drink of Italy

Italian Limoncello(lee-mohn-CHEH-loh)

If you have ever been to Italy, you'll instantly know about Limoncello. Lemons seem to be one of the important staples in the food of Sorrento. The most famous product is Limoncello. Every store or restaurant has it’s unique or favorite brand of Limoncello for sale or to taste. It is wonderful as a palate cleanser or as an after dinner drink. Limoncello is the generic name for an Italian citrus-based lemon liqueur that is served well chilled in the summer months. Limoncello is now considered the  national drink of Italy and can be found in stores and restaurants all over Italy.

We recommend putting your bottle in the freezer and enjoying it as an after dinner sipping drink

There are a number of recipes on the internet for cooking with limoncello. Pinterest has a great collection. Click here for a great starting point

One of our favorite recipes in the collection is Limoncello Lemon Cake.

Limoncello Lemon Cake
adapted from Erika Kerekes

Moist and tender this cake is a ray of sunshine sent from heaven!

2 eggs
1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup canola oil
zest of 1 lemon
3 Tbs Limoncello (or lemon juice)
2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
Glaze
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 to 2 Tbs Limoncello or Lemon Juice (adjust as necessary)
1 tsp lemon zest

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, yogurt, sugar, oil, lemon zest and 3 Tbsp limoncello or lemon juice.  In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring just until incorporated, 15-20 stirs, being careful not to over mix.

Spray an 8.5 x 4.5-inch loaf pan (or alternatively 3 mini loaf pans, 5 3/4 x 3 inch) with cooking spray.  Pour the batter into the pan.  Bake about 40 minutes for the larger loaf pan or 30-35 minutes for the smaller loaf pans, or until a tester comes out clean and the top of the cake is golden. Cool the cake in the pan for about 5 minutes.  Remove from pans and continue cooling on a wire rack.

When the cake is cool, whisk the powdered sugar with 2 Tbs limoncello or lemon juice in a small bowl until smooth.  Drizzle the glaze over the cake.

Another delightful way to enjoy your Limoncello is paired with a lemon biscotti.
